Hey, this question might be asked a lot but, I'm looking for old backups, and i'm on my backup folder and i see a LOT of stuff, but when I connect my phone to my itunes and go under backups i dont have all the selection..

Besides pricing yourself too low and underestimating the time needed to pull-off a project, I picked up on this (your quote).
If you're going to be a professional graphic designer, it's time you got your filing/archiving system down. As you saw on that phone call, a little fumbling around and disorganization doesn't reflect wel and gives your nightmare clients the opportunity to belittle you. Don't give them that opportunity. Be organized.
One final thing. Phone time is meeting time. Meeting time is billable. Especially when the phone calls are over 1/3 of your billable time.
And good luck with the career. :)

Applied to the local store and got invited to a seminar. What should I expect? I heard they sometimes have you work in groups to create a video, skit, or presentation of some kind. None of which I'm very good at.

I send out a lot of resumes but no real nibbles yet.
Don't send out resumes. Put together a portfolio and arrange a meeting.
Tell them you're the best thing since sliced bread, and you'll do anything (almost ;)) to prove it to them. I wouldn't give a resume a second glance, but could easily spend 15 minutes looking over an aspiring designer's work.
If your work is good and you present it and yourself well, it should be enough to get your foot in the door somewhere. Be prepared to discuss your decision making process in detail.

Not sure if these are "New" pics of the car, but it is the first I've seen it. McLaren's new MP4-12C GT3 racer. To me, when it comes to race cars, there are very few things better than a "Papaya Orange" McLaren, and this car is no exception. I think the road car is great looking, but like the F1 before it years ago, when spec'd up for race trim, it gets SOOO much sexier! I can't wait to see this thing in action.

I have made a flyer in Pages and one of the text box little "corner squares" will not disappear. Actually, its the bottom center square that has the little plus sign in it. Can anyone tell me how to remove it or make it disappear?

I've been a member of these forums for a long time now, and I really like it here, I've learnt a lot and had a lot of fun too. But, to move to the next level and actually become part of the MR team it is obvious to any idiot (even me!) that some of my old habits have to die, and I do need to be able to account for my actions. It's impossible to be 100% certain is a crap response, because in many cases it is 100% certain, and i've named a few already.
That is false. Even lawyers agree that 100% certainty is impossible. That is why we have the term "reasonable doubt". The 5 men wrongly sentenced to death in Ohio went through what was supposed to be an exceptionally thorough legal process, yet it still failed them.
Also, the whole financial issue is very debatable and i don't think anyone here has solid figures on it.

The only reason it may cost more to execute someone is because of all the appeals and court costs, this can easily be fixed so execution is the most economical way.
Stalin, Gaddafi and Kim Jong Il would agree. You're in good company there.
I'm not going any further into this because my stance that some people are unworthy of life won't change. Peace out girl scout.
Don't labor under the illusion that I or anyone else cares what you think. Frankly I do not. You've added nothing to this discussion but emotional responses and baiting, after which you've abandoned what is clearly a lost cause. I think that speaks for itself.

Why do you need to disable something you don't want to use? Can't you just not use it?
Are you afraid you might accidentally change your mind someday and need to prevent yourself from doing this in the future?
Also, many BBS's that I use offer me the chance to change the text-reply field size in my personal preferences. The window can be any size and the page looks just fine. Pretty much ANY text entry field has to be built into a page in such a way that changing the size just pushes things below it lower, just in case a browser draws it larger than planned. I can't think of any sites that don't work that way. This box I'm using on Macrumors right now follows that rule. If I were to drag it large nothing would "break." The stuff below it would just move down.

IMHO this is a non-issue since when the user first sees the page they will se it as it should be, if they want to make a textarea bigger so they can type in it comfortably then it's their own choice.

It may be fun for play, but I cant see anything real being done on that. Most high end photo editors wont even use a trackpad/laptop...
And from a user standpoint, having all menus buried and no keyboard shortcuts, you're expanding the time to edit drastically.

It is a toy. You can't seriously think that professionals are going to depend on Photoshop for iPad and throw away their computer can you? That's like throwing away your computer because GarageBand is also available on the iPad, and attempting to produce an album on an iPad. Impossible.
