As I mentioned earlier, my case is family-based. I'm in F1 visa status so the 245 provision doesn't apply to me. The period of work is hard to calculate. Since I never actively participated in my own business, I don't recall ever working for more than a few hours each month.
I suppose the question boils down to this: Should I, or shouldn't I disclose my self employment to CIS?
Family based might based upon the parents or siblings. That is the reason i asked whether is is spouse? If spouse you are OK. You can disclose the income.

I think you should explain what you are saying . going back to your previous posts you don't seem to be a particularly well mannered individual.
I tried to help the guy best to my ability and I said what I believe to be true. If you can prove that I said something wrong then you should say that with appropriate links.
I don't see any harm helping others who are trying to walk on the same path of immigration as we did legally.
I think you should explain what you are saying . going back to your previous posts you don't seem to be a particularly well mannered individual.

Hi there,
I'm a newbie with DSLR's. I am using a D40x with a SB400 speedlight that I use to bounce light off the ceiling. I take a lot of photos of my daughter who goes a mile a minute. I have found that she is out of focus because it picks up something closer.
How do I take a shot that will have the entire shot in focus? What settings would I use? With 10 megapixels sometimes I want to get the shot and crop/frame it later. With kids it's impossible to set everything right before the shot is gone!

You can start Greencard application in EB2 after receiving the MS degree in December 2006. H-1B and GC are two separate entities.
any help appreciated. My labor got cleared from BEC. It was filed under RIR category . The minimum req for the job specified in LCA is BS+5 yrs+2 months.Salary is 80k/yr.Does this qualify me for EB2 also the ETA form has my qualification as my BE+MS .Also it specifies my past experience before joining the company. In my previous experience i was promoted and worked in a fortune 500 company .Will this qualify me for EB2. Also i heard that the category is determined in 140 stage.any help .thanks in advance.The occupation code also specifies that 65% or more in this job have bachelors and masters .Also it was mentioned it requires years of work experience for this job.Will this qualify for EB2. I am eager to know as i am from rest of the world and i can file 140/485/ead/ap together now.Any inputs.

My wife and I got the receipt date for I-485 while my daughter did not...even though all of us filed on the same day through same mail package. It is puzzling how one would miss one application and process the others. Please let me know if anyone faced a similar situation.
The scene has changed a little bit with both of us receiving a FP mail notice recently. I wanted to know what would happen if both of us go ahead with the biometrics while not knowing the status of my daughters application.

i would say apply for the Eb2. I am on Eb3 right now and i will plan to apply for eb2 after Dec 2008.

yes that is true that we need position and job details before looking out usin AC-21. I am in same boat, I have I-140 copy but nothing related to labor. I think I am stuck for next 3-4 years with current employer.
