How do we distinguish corporate stores from privately owned ones?
Go to verizon's website, they will list corporate stores. They also list authorized retailers, ie "Joe's Phones".

They're getting rid of the light in lion. They don't want the average user worrying about "open" or "closed" apps. Just use and exit when done. The system will worry with open and closed. I like it that way.

Not hands-down. Trains win if the goods are (1) very high volume, and (2) are going only from station to station. You can't back a train car up to a Best Buy to unload a bunch of big-screen TV's. You still need trucks. With the growth of suburbs and the push westward, things aren't as tightly clustered as they once were; that causes trains to lose a lot of their luster as far as delivery efficiency.

So what's fixed?
To me, in Office nothing seemed broken.
From the release notes:
"Microsoft Office for Mac 2001 Service Pack 1, addresses several known issues with stability and usability on the MacOSX platform. Significant to this update is the new "Port to PC" function. With this function, MacOSX users will be continually reminded that they should abandon the Mac and move to a Windows 7 supported PC. Several new instabilities, with annoying alerts were added in order to enhance this functionality. "
And then it goes on and on about some other silly bug fixes. :p

I wonder what the IO performance of the reader is and what a 64GB drive might manage.
Be nice if the I/O was good enough to feed DVD/HD video. I'm thinking hard about a new Mini for my HTPC and since my media is on a 2TB FW800 drive - being able to store it on a card, instead, would be sweet. :D :cool:
(And yes, I am sure such a 2TB card, if and when it ships, would be significantly expensive).

Thats what happened to me and Spanky Deluxe! Lol we got in the store and was getting screamed at by the apple staff who were blocking the way to the bottem back of the store so we thought we had to go upstairs :D It was a fun experience!

I unplugged everything and that made it work.
Network Cable

I didn't think to unplug them one at a time to control for where the problem was. Oh well. If your drives comes out and snaps back in right away without updating the firmware. Remove all devices before rebooting.

This is the primary design flaw with the iPad. This tablet can't be the normal person's computer unless every normal person has a tech friend/relative to keep the tablet working/updated. So while Woz is correct that the tablet will be the normal person's computer, Apple's iPad is not yet that tablet.

I haven't opened VMWare Fusion for months, since I installed Office for Mac.
