This is the most hopeless of all the articles I have seen on this issue. It has no meaning, no arguments, nothing new to tell or share and it doesn't even cover any issue. The article does not cover the issue properly making mockery of the entire issue. simply hopeless journalism :eek:

My I-140 and I-485 also has different A numbers. I had 2 more approved I-140s which has different A numbers as well. How and when will get consolidated to a single file?
Gurus who have more insight into this process, please enlighten us.

I think its ok to have different A#'s except when you are trying to get your I-485 adjudicated and you want to use the earliest PD from your multiple I-140's.
I think its easier for USCIS to consolidate your I-140's and 485's into a single A-file
if they all have the same A number
There is no easy way to consolidate all your I-140s and link them to your I-485 - get infopass, contact IO, get congressperson or senator involved, write to the ombudsman etc people have tried various means and no one knows what clicked for them - but
something does work!
Most of the times they will accept your request only if you are current (according to your earliest PD - if you have multiple I-140s)

My issue happened in 2005. I cannot recall the exact phrase but I determined that they lost the attached check. If you look at my old posts, you will find how my issue was resolved. The re-submission letter must be marked with "mail-room - do not open" and should be sent to service center director directly.

My Adavance parole is also lost. It was approved on August 18th and I still havent recieved it. I called the USCIS and they said I have to reapply. Did the SR work for anyone ?

There is a sudden change of plan. My company wants me in US for two months - March 15 - May 15. Then i have to go back to India till Dec 09 and come back to join work from Jan 2010. My questions -
1. Will i be facing any questions at the immigration (point of entry) when i come back on Jan 2010?
2. Any other situation or scenario that i should be aware of?
3. If i receive pay check for just two months in 09, will there be a problem when i file taxes for 2009?
4. How long can i stay outside US on a H1b visa?

Yes, ICICI bank do not allow more than 4 part pre-payments in a year. I am not sure if it is a calendar year. You can ask ICICI for the part pre-payment terms. When I inquired, they sent me a PDF file.
I had this issue because I wanted to pay-off my loan to avoid the increasing interest rate. Mine was floating. The officer who sold me the loan gave some misguiding concept "interest rate will go down when the economy is booming". But the reverse happened after I took the loan. I had a floating rate of 7% in Sept 2004. But within a year and half it almost crossed 12.5%.
I will try to find the email that ICICI sent regarding the part pre-payments terms.

If what you are saying constitutes a fraud, isnt filing the PERM the first step of the fraud and thats already committed -

Applied I140 and I485 concurrently during the July 2007 fiasco (July 17th 2007 ... to be precise)
Used Cross-chargeability and crossed to EB3 ROW, so my priority date became current
I140 approved: Sept 08
GC Approved: Oct 08.
I dont know if cross-chargeability matters, but the main thing is that when my I485 was approved in Oct 08 the processing time was still showing June 2007 (roughly first week of june 2007), which is more than 1 month behind. And also the processing time was stuck on june 2007 for few months.
