My docs and signed applications reached attorney last Friday. Paralegal seems to be working on it as he keeps sending questions by email. However, when I asked the forms might be mailed by June 29th, he didn't reply. My feeling -by the questions asked- is that my form are complete. I'm hoping he'll mail it latest by first week of July.

Disagreements are the essence of Democracy. I don't mind disagreements. My intention is not to setup an organization with autocratic leadership, but a forum open for discussion and new ideas. We do have to respect the bye-laws of the IV organization and maintain forum etiquette. Other than that I have no issues with anyone disagreeing with me or pointing out where I went wrong. I appreciate such constructive criticism which is accompanied by participation.

I didn't find what I am looking for.
I already have a lawyer and the ONLY reason I want to file myself is because I am fed up in chasing lawyers, my company etc. They don't respond in time and anyways I am preparing all my documents my self and guiding lawyer also.
So, I am thinking to file myself.
Posted this in another thread earlier, these are the instructions I followed from my employer.
DOCUMENTATION FOR APPLICATION
BASED ON EMPLOYMENT
The primary applicant and all dependents must each file the following documents. All checks/money orders should be made payable to the �Department of Homeland Security� and stapled to the top left-hand corner of the Form I-485 (Application for Permanent Residence). Place documentation for each application in the order listed below.
1. Form I-485 (Application for Permanent Residence) and fee. Fee is $325 for each person aged 14 and over, $225 for each person under the age of 14. Check box (a) in Part 2 of the form. Form
I-485 Supplement A is not required unless you are illegally in the US.
2. Fingerprint fee ($70) for each applicant aged 14 to 79. USCIS will send notification of time and place for later fingerprinting. Fee may either be included with the check/money order for the Form I-485 or written as a separate check/money order.
3. Two color passport pictures (click here). Staple an envelope with photos to the lower left corner of the Form I-485.
4. Form G-325A (Biographic Information).
5. Sealed I-693 (Report of Medical Examination) and Supplement to I-693 completed by a certified USCIS Civil Surgeon. Children under 14 years of age do not need the x-ray or blood serology.
6. Evidence of valid nonimmigrant status. Prepare an outline or �history� of all prior periods of stay and visa status in the U.S. Include copies of related documents
(I-20s, IAP-66/DS2019s, I-797s) and 2 year home residency waiver letter, if applicable.
7. Photocopies of I-94 (both sides), passport identification, passport validity/extension, and US visa pages.
8. Photocopy of Form I-797 Approval Notice, showing approval of I-140 Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers. If you are filing while the I-140 is pending, write CONCURRENT FILING on the cover sheet and mailing envelope. Be sure to attach a copy of the I-140 Receipt Notice.
9. Photocopy of birth certificate showing parents� names. Passports are NOT acceptable substitutes for a birth record.
10. Photocopy of the marriage license of the primary applicant and spouse.
11. Photocopies of divorce decree(s) and/or death certificate(s) from all prior marriages of the primary applicant and spouse (if applicable).
12. Current employment letter for the primary applicant. Letter must certify continuation of permanent employment, starting salary, and duties.

As i understand for labor there are only 2 centers right ? one is the atlanta processing center and the other is chicago processing center. Atlanta processing center caters to the state in which my employer has registered his company so i believe he must have sent my application to this processing center only.

The minimum req for the job specified in LCA is BS+5 yrs+2 months.Salary is 80k/yr.Does this qualify me for EB2 also the ETA form has my qualification as my BE+MS .Also it specifies my past experience before joining the company. In my previous experience i was promoted and worked in a fortune 500 company .Will this qualify me for EB2. Also i heard that the category is determined in 140 stage.any help .thanks in advance.The occupation code also specifies that 65% or more in this job have bachelors and masters .Also it was mentioned it requires years of work experience for this job.Will this qualify for EB2. We should regularly update our data and also urge others to do the same. These days I am first looking at the data of the user before replying to the post. If the data is not there, it is ok. We do not force anyone who does not have data to update the profile. Their data will anyways not show on the tracker. In the coming days we will add more filters in the tracker to clean up such people who have incomplete or zero data.
But we definitely need to nudge people who have put incorrect data to correct it. Incorrect data will hurt the reliability of the tracker and the advocacy effort we plan to do.

It does not matter who you are working for what matters is where you are living. Let's say there is a theft at your home while living in US, will you call Canadian police or US cops?
