A big problem with the big megapixels is the amount of storage they take on your phone. You cannot adjust the megapixel size down with a phone camera like you can with a point & shoot camera. A 16 megapixel camera in a phone will not give you a better picture than a 5 megapixel camera in a phone. A phone just does not have the room to install a quality sensor.
Exactly, re: sensors. The amount of electricity-induced noise on a small 16MP sensor for a cell camera is going to render images fairly useless at large sizes (even 8.5x11 would doubtlessly require a lot of cleanup work.) For practical purposes, it may as well remain a 3MP sensor...

There's no special TP --> HDMI, because there's no need for one. You can plug in Mini DP into TP and it will work. In fact the port has separate channel for video, so your monitor doesn't compete for bandwidth with anything else.

I'm doing a website that will have some Flash animation in it. Is there a way to have it to where the browser can be checked to see if it has the Flash Player to view the Flash animation, then if it doesn't have it, a JPEG or GIF of the same dimensions as the Flash animation will be put in it's place?

1.) Check you color sync profile.
2.) Load in a blank white picture and move it around the screen.
Are there really hot spots.
3.) Load in or create a b/w test 4 square test pattern. Do the same.
4.) Try these resolution test patterns.
SMPTE and BWH test patterns to download. (http://brighamrad.harvard.edu/research/topics/vispercep/tutorial.html)
5.) Are you a smoker, or is the screen in direct sunlight for a time?
Spotty yellowing may occur behind an in front of the screen from smoke and nicotine. Sunlight may damage a screen with UV.
If you find "hot spots" and have AppleCare, give Apple a call.
6.) If your dog does pee on the screen, it should just drip off. If it doesn�t, you dog may be diabetic. Glucose in the urine will cause it to stick.

Well yea you're on a Mac forum so you're going to get a lot of Mac replies... which IMO is all you need ;)
But seriously... if you want extreme portability a MBA will do great... the 13 inch ones are slim and have amazing battery life; if you're willing to get the 1.4/1.6ghz dual core instead of a 2.x one (dual), then you should be set. They all have the glass trackpad which is great as well.
Like I posted before though, I would suggest a MBP. They are still very portable and small in size compared to other laptops and have a performance (and build) increase compared to the regular, polycarbonate Macs.
What are you planning on doing with your computer? Where are you taking it? These things would help us out a lot :)
