Yes I got an I-94 with the transfer(Same I-94 number as the L1 one). I didn't go out of US after that.
Please note that I joined the H1 employer and later got an H1 transfer approved also.

Then what kind of visa that I have to hold between the beginning until I am ready to hire total of 10 and file my EB5.
Is there limited time frame? that I have to hire total of 10 let say within 2 years..

EB-2 is the investor visa offered. You can renew every year without any time limitation. But this is purely a non-immigrant VISA. You can not get a GC from this. Of course, being on H-1B creates a conflict with this. So let your H4 spouse take advantage of this and let him/her build the business and then switch to EB-5. As a dependent, you will also get the GC.
EB-5 GC is conditional for the first two years. You have to show $1 Million non risk-free investment and employment for 10 full-time employees through your company returns for past two years at the end of conditional GC and apply for renewal. Then you will be offered a non-restrictive GC.:)

Most of my friends (self filing) sent in their applications to reach service center by July 2, haven't received the applications back. According to the USCIS memo yesterday, the last paragraph clearly indicates that the filings received earlier will be accepted and processed... Please see portion of that note below

Dear Viewers
Could anyone please advice me on how to claim the unpaid salary from the previous employers.
I was working for a company based in Michigan run by an Indian. This person did not pay me my last month salary. He does not pick up his phone or respond to my email. I have all the proof that my client has paid him the money for which I worked but he continue to ignore my request. This guy owes me around 5000 dollars.
Any piece of advice would be of great help.

what does ur online status show btw? also ur dep's earlier checks havent cashed right ? dumb Q :-( one of my friend got in to similar situation he sent it back and checks cashed not sure how much did he sent though.
The status shows application received and rejected. As per the notice the reason is missing signature.The check's haven't cashed..,can you please check with your friend how long it took for him to get the check's cashed after re-sending the application?

My 140 is approved, 6th year expires in March 09, 485 has not been filed due to retrogression and there is a potential for a layoff. Can I transfer 140 to a new employer and file 3 yr extension at the same time?

You will have to file the WH-4 form to DOL. Please do the search in this forum/internet as this has been discussed many many times.
USCIS is cracking down on employers. Whether you are on project or not. Doesn't matter. Employer has to pay you or lay you off and provide ticket back home.
Once you file WH-4, ball is in the court of USCIS/DOL/Employer for unpaid wages.

I was also taken aback initially when I read this. The 8 year wait doesnt apply to title 5. Title 5 already is designed to clear the backlog of EB immigration from 6 years to 0/at best minimum since quota is increased and there are exemptions. The 8 year backlog refers to family based.
