Got EAD's and AP's for both me and my spouse.
I 485-Received mail from Uscis on August 23rd,requesting for Evidence(no change in online status though).
RFE was for EVL,for which response was sent on 16 th sep(through Murthy firm )
Hard LUD on 17th september,change in online status,"received RFE response case process resumed"
soft LUDs on my application on 18,19,20,22 and 23rd.
soft LUDs on spouse application on 22nd and 23 rd.
What does this mean,My case is being processed ,any chances of getting GC this month?Any thoughts?

(As an indication of the rate of demand and how close to the quarterly and annual limits usage is, the USCIS requested three India EB-2 numbers for January, all with dates prior to 01 JAN 00.) There is some possibility that India EB-2 could again become available if it appears that the demand for India EB-1 will not exceed the annual limit, but, that determination will not be able to be made until the second half of the fiscal year.
For China-mainland born EB-2, if demand remains as has been seen over the last couple of months, it is expected that the 01 JAN 03 cut-off date will hold, and it is likely that all numbers will be used within the current cut-off date.

I'm not entirely clear why 3 applicants made them make the PD unavailable in Jan.
We can only hope for a PD jump if EB ROW spares some numbers in the final quarter. I think(perhaps I am hoping) they might move the PDs a little starting in June. If EB1 retrogresses or if EB ROW moves too fast even that might be out.

I have a 4 yr degree + approx 7 yrs experience before joining current company in US.My labor required a bachelor+5 yr progressive experience and did not mention about Masters.
140 filed under EB2.
I recently received RFE .In one of the point the officer has mentioned that the classicfication requires advanced degree and has asked me to submit academic record for advanced degree in addition to transcript+credithours+attendence for bachelor degree.
I have been thinking that bachelor+ 5 yrs experience is ok for EB2.But now i am confused.
Pls throw in some light.

I gave notice period to my employer and he was being cool at that time but then I did not get salary credited in my account for last month when I called my employer and inquired about that, he said he has some dues invoices to client and can not pay until he gets money from client. Can you please suggest me what should I do in this case? My employer said it will take 3-4 months to get those invoices clear.

Well if it is clearly mentioned in the offer letter that Employer will cover the GC cost, then isnt the employer supposed to pay for it irrespective of when the labor was filed. It was filed in 2006.

Not really. I truly believe the Skill bill will be passed by mid next year to allow all STEM Masters to stay back and adjust status automatically like in Australia. There is a crisis in the US with very few students entering STEM and the US will very likely retain international students by hook or crook. This will also clear the queue for non US qualified temporary workers in the queue for green card.
The chances of the bill being passed in the current pre-election highly charged political atmosphere is minimal at best. But then one never knows..!

I had exactly the same issue (the return was rejected) and I called IRS. They asked me to put 0 in the AGI and it was then accepted.
we had a similar issue,
what happens is that when you efile with IRS, They dont have data that your wife had SSN last year, and they have just the ITIN number. thats the reason efile gets rejected. you need to manually file this year and next year it should be OK to efile.
I am not sure which pacakge you are using to Efile, I had similar problem with HR blocks tax cut software.
