Please help!
I just filed i-485. My pD is Jan 2004
i-140 has been previoulsy approved.
Now my original employer agreed to give me evl, but with the way the economy is going they are not doing well.
I have another employer which I am working now with.
How likely is to get an approval (or an rfe for paystubs?) before 180 days.

Could anyone please advice me on how to claim the unpaid salary from the previous employers.
I was working for a company based in Michigan run by an Indian. This person did not pay me my last month salary. He does not pick up his phone or respond to my email. I have all the proof that my client has paid him the money for which I worked but he continue to ignore my request. This guy owes me around 5000 dollars.
Any piece of advice would be of great help.

Your stay status will be Parolee but your work status will be H1 so YES, you will be fine even if you used AP for re-entry.
PS : I am not a lawyer but I entered using AP and have H1 as my working permit.

My Lawyer sent a letter explaining to port from EB3 to EB2. He attached both the copies of the approved I-140s. btw. my new approved I-140 has the priority date of EB3. Lawyer request to port the PD from EB3 to EB2 at the time of I-140 application.
He also mentioned the A# no.s in the Cover Letter.
Also my Approved I-140 has the A# printed in the beneficiary column.
Hope this helps.

Please CONGRATULATE to the new President on Tuesday by all channels and DEFINITELY ASK the question " Now that you are the president, do you want to further punish us for being legal and sticking to the rules and hence make us wait forever in these long painful EB2/EB3-I long queues, . Mention about 5882, small admin fix.

does he want to give us some immediate relief. Dont forget to mention we can buy houses, not new job applicants, legal etc and HIgh-skilled.

My wife is on H4 and is planning to convert to F1 before joining graduate school to get scholarship. At same time my PERM is filed and once approved i was planning to use cross chargebility to file under my wife country of birth quota (UAE). i wanted to know following
a) if she applied for conversion for F1 today, can she get scholarship before she gets ssn or she has to wait till she gets ssn
B) If during her F1 processing time or grauate studies on F1, if my PERM gets approved, can i file for I-140 and I485 using cross chargebility with her being on F1 or i would have to wait for her to conert to H4? If there any risk to our green card processing
C)If she continues on H4 visa, can she still get scholarship? if not once she graduates would she be in special US master degree quota for H1B?
Any help on these would be great

Online search would give a bunch of sites… you know your insurance needs for you/family better than anyone….You may find one or many but trade-offs are inevitable... make sure to compare the new insurance that you will be buying against the one you have to validate coverage...

"I looked after Dobbs' horses while I was illegal," said one man. Another worker said that he believed Hillary Dobbs knew they didn't have papers. Macdonald wrote that another worker worked on the garden at Dobbs' Florida property. A piece of black velvet or similar material would fix that, and isn't too expensive if you stick to one or two.I picked up small pieces of black and white non-reflective velvet that do a nice job. Any local fabric shop should carry it. Not cheap, but it won't break the bank. They might have remnants that would be large enough.
